MANHATTAN, NY – The NYPD is searching for four suspects who allegedly assaulted and robbed two security guards outside a Lower Manhattan movie theater late last year.
According to police, the incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on December 19, 2025, at the Regal Cinema located at 850 Broadway, within the 9th Precinct. Investigators say the victims, two male security employees ages 29 and 37, had removed a group of four individuals from the theater for disorderly behavior.

Once outside, the confrontation turned violent. One suspect reportedly punched the 29-year-old guard in the face and stole his hat, while another struck the 37-year-old guard and took his watch. The group then fled the area in an unknown direction. Both victims suffered minor facial injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.
