Lottery crews are heading to Aberdeen Baltimore and Crownsville for a packed month of public events

BALTIMORE, Md. — The Maryland Lottery is closing out May with a string of public events across the state, bringing prize wheels, giveaways, live entertainment, and festival crowds together as summer season celebrations begin.

Lottery officials announced Tuesday that the agency’s events team will make stops in Harford County, Baltimore, and Anne Arundel County during the final weeks of the month.

The first stop comes Wednesday at the Harford Senior Expo, held at the Ripken Stadium Club Level in Aberdeen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors attending the expo will be able to stop by the Maryland Lottery booth and spin the prize wheel for giveaways and promotional items.

The Lottery will then return to one of Baltimore’s major Memorial Day weekend traditions with Brew at the Zoo at the Maryland Zoo.

Lottery representatives will be stationed at the event Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Officials said attendees can expect live music, local vendors, food, beverages, and Lottery-themed prize opportunities throughout the festival.

The month wraps up with the Annapolis Irish Festival at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville.

The Maryland Lottery booth will operate Friday, May 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Festivalgoers will be able to enjoy Irish cuisine, live entertainment, and Lottery prize wheel giveaways during the event.

Lottery officials said the appearances are part of ongoing outreach efforts tied to community festivals and public gatherings throughout Maryland.
