According to the Montgomery County Police Department daily crime summary released Tuesday, officers investigated multiple incidents across the county tied to residential burglaries, commercial break-ins, and thefts from vehicles.

In the 5800 block of Nicholson Lane, officers responded Tuesday at about 9:40 a.m. after a vacant apartment unit showed signs that someone had been inside. No suspects were located at the scene.

Police also reported a commercial burglary Monday at about 8:50 p.m. at the Unique Thrift Store in the 10100 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Investigators said a suspect forced entry into a back office shortly before closing and stole property.

Another incident led to an arrest Tuesday around 11 a.m. near Fenton Street and Bonifant Street after a passing officer spotted a suspect breaking into a vehicle inside a parking garage. The suspect was arrested at the scene.

Investigators are also looking into a theft involving stolen tires and rims from a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Blair Road. Police said the theft occurred sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday at noon.
