CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A suspected shoplifter accused of stealing a high-end Dyson vacuum cleaner from a Chesapeake department store is now being sought by police after investigators said he walked out with the merchandise and fled in a black Infiniti with dark tinted windows.

According to the Chesapeake Police Department, the theft happened on May 15 and involved a Dyson vacuum cleaner valued at approximately $629.

Investigators said the suspect entered the store, selected the vacuum cleaner, and exited the business without paying for the merchandise.

Police said the suspect was last seen leaving the area in a black Infiniti equipped with dark tinted windows.

Authorities released surveillance images of the suspect and are asking the public for help identifying him.
