Police say drugs, paraphernalia and outstanding warrants surfaced during roadside investigation
TINTON FALLS, N.J. — A traffic stop on Route 33 led to the arrest of two people after officers allegedly discovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside their vehicle.
The arrests occurred May 29 following a traffic stop conducted by members of the Tinton Falls Police Department.
According to police, Amada Schneider, 33, of Manchester, and Alexander Perez, 36, of Brick, were found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia during the investigation.
Authorities also determined that Schneider had outstanding warrants from Wall Township and Neptune Township.
Both Schneider and Perez were charged and processed before being released on summonses.
The arrests were made by Detective James Sapia with assistance from several members of the department’s investigative and patrol divisions.
The charges are accusations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
