One ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, turning a stop at a Butler County Sheetz into a seven-figure jackpot win

Middletown, PA — Six numbers drawn Tuesday night transformed a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in Butler County into a $1.27 million jackpot winner, delivering the top Match 6 Lotto prize to a lucky player.

The jackpot-winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn on June 16: 2, 8, 10, 25, 42 and 48.

The winning ticket was sold at Sheetz, located at 2000 Ehrman Road in Cranberry Township. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said the ticket is worth $1.27 million before applicable withholding.

Match 6 Lotto winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes. Lottery officials encourage players to sign the back of winning tickets purchased at retail locations as soon as possible.

The drawing produced thousands of additional winners across Pennsylvania. According to the Lottery, more than 45,600 other Match 6 Lotto tickets won prizes in Tuesday’s drawing.

Match 6 Lotto tickets can be purchased through Pennsylvania Lottery retailers or online through the Lottery’s digital platform.

Lottery officials noted that prizes are not officially awarded until tickets are validated through the claims process.
