Victim says two cyclists surrounded him before one pulled a folding knife
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A man walking along West Street was robbed by two men riding bicycles after one of the suspects allegedly pulled a folding knife, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The robbery happened at about 5:35 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of West Street.
Police said Southern District officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a citizen robbery. When officers arrived, they spoke with the adult male victim, who said two men riding bicycles approached him while he was walking.
According to investigators, one of the suspects pointed a folding knife at the victim while the second suspect stole his property and cash.
Both suspects fled the area on their bicycles before officers arrived.
Anne Arundel County Police said Southern District detectives are investigating the robbery and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Police described one suspect as a white man in his mid-to-late 30s, approximately 6-foot-2, who was wearing a white shirt and sweatpants.
The second suspect is described as a Black man in his mid-to-late 30s, approximately 5-foot-5, who was wearing a black shirt and shorts.
