Victim succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds
BALTIMORE, Md. — A shooting that left a 25-year-old man critically wounded has become a homicide investigation after the victim died at a hospital, Baltimore Police announced.
Officers responded at approximately 5:31 p.m. on Aug. 6 to the 500 block of Callender Street for a report of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found the 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died despite medical efforts.
Baltimore Police Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or announced any arrests.
