East 34th Street shooting sends man to hospital and launches search for answers
BALTIMORE, MD – A 35-year-old man was shot in broad daylight Monday on East 34th Street in Baltimore, sending him to a hospital and launching an investigation into who opened fire and what led to the shooting.
Officers responded to the 600 block of East 34th Street at approximately 1:37 p.m. Monday for a report of a firearm being discharged, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers find wounded man
When officers reached the scene, they found the 35-year-old suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his body.
The victim was transported to an area hospital.
Police said he was listed in stable condition.
No additional information about the extent of his injuries was released.
Detectives search for answers
Northern District Shooting detectives responded and took control of the investigation.
Police did not announce an arrest or provide a suspect description in the information released Monday.
