TOWSON, Md. – A 50-year-old woman was killed Friday night when another driver crossed the center lines at high speed and struck her vehicle head-on in Baltimore County, police said.
Halina Tsishchanka of Reisterstown was driving a Lexus TX500h when it collided with a Ford F-250 at North Point Road and Shaws Road around 10:11 p.m. Paramedics pronounced Tsishchanka dead at the scene.

Ford F-250 Crossed Center Lines, Police Say
The preliminary investigation places the Ford F-250 across the center of North Point Road immediately before the collision.
Police said “the driver of the F-250 collided with the Lexus head on when crossing the double yellow center lines at a high rate of speed.”
Officers responding to the intersection found both drivers. Tsishchanka could not be saved and was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
Baltimore County Police did not identify the driver of the Ford in the information released Sunday.
The department also did not announce any charges or say whether investigators believe alcohol or drugs played a role.
Crash Team Investigating Fatal Collision
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team has taken over the investigation.
Investigators have not released additional details about what happened immediately before the Ford crossed the double yellow lines. Police described their findings as preliminary, meaning the investigation remains underway.
No information was provided about whether the Ford driver was injured.
