PASCO COUNTY, FL – A Florida man, literally, Florida man, was arrested when he was caught abusing the 9-1-1 service. A man with a very large tattoo of the state of Florida on his forehead was charged after making repeated calls to the Pasco 9-1-1 center.
Matthew Leatham, of New Port Richey, called 9-1-1 to request a ride home. Apparently, he thought the emergency service system could also be used for Uber. Despite his obnoxious call where he repeatedly swore at the 9-1-1 officer, the Pasco County deputy arriving on the scene even offered Florida man a ride home earlier.
He refused. He was later caught with marijuana and booked
