Police Seeking Hit and Run Driver Who Caused Life-Threatening Injuries to 16-Year-Old

COLUMBUS, OH – Police in Columbus are continuing their search for a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run crash that left a teenage victim with critical injuries.

According to police, a white Hyundai Elantra was used in a hit-skip accident where a 16-year-old pedestrian was struck on August 3, at 9:01 p.m.

“The teen suffered life threatening injuries,” the department said. “There should be damage to the right front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen in the Canal Winchester area.”
