TOMS RIVER, NJ – There’s no shortage of pizzerias in Toms River, but only a handful can truly be considered the best in town. Now, the One Bite Pizza app designed by Barstool Sports helps finding the best pizza in town ever before.

In Toms River, 10 pizzerias stack up to criticism and are the top 10 highest-rated pizzerias on the popular pizza review app. Unfortunately, Dave Portnoy, CEO of Barstool Sports and pizzeria maker and breaker has never reviewed a Toms River pizza, but has visited nearby Jackson and the boardwalk in Seaside Heights.

Brooklyn Square – 9.0

Brooklyn Square is located in the old Pizza Rustico spot in Silverton, just off Church Road. While Portnoy never visited Brooklyn Square in Toms River, he did visit with owner Peter Grippo at his flagship restaurant in Jackson, where he handed their signature square pizza an 8.9 and gave the plain round cheese pizza a 7.8.

Zi Marie’s Original Pizzeria-Trattoria – 8.6

The vote is out whether or not their round cheese pie or upside-down grandma pie was the best, but one thing Toms River agrees on is that DiCosmo’s was ranked the third best pizza in town. DiComsos had large shoes to fill, taking over the old Steverino’s spot, a place that fed generations of Silverton residents until they closed up for good. The restaurant announced its closure in September, unfortunately.

Naples Pizza & Restaurant – 7.4
