by Jeff Jones

RICHMOND, VA – The Richmond police department has reported that fraudsters are targeting the Department’s Facebook page who are trying to fraudulently sell t-shirts to unsuspecting residents and followers. The Richmond Police Department and it is not hosting any t-shirt fundraisers and any solicitation for t-shirt sales on their Facebook page are not authentic.

“We have noticed over the past few days that various fraudulent links are being posted in the comments section on our page. DO NOT click on any links,” the department said today, “We are not selling any shirts and have not authorized anyone to do so.”
