CUMBERLAND, MD – Cumberland Police Department officers arrested Shawn Lamar Gladden, 40, for violating his pre-trial release conditions on Thursday. Police were called to a residence on Baltimore Street around 9:17 PM for a disturbance. On arrival, they found Gladden inside, in direct violation of his pre-trial conditions.
Upon confrontation, Gladden resisted arrest, disobeyed officers, and caused a disturbance. He was charged with Violate Release Conditions, Obstructing & Hindering, Fail to Obey a Reasonable & Lawful Order, Disorderly Conduct, Fraud-Ident: Avoid Prosecution, and Resist Arrest. He is currently held pending a court appearance.
