Police say the pair attacked the victim in a parking lot before fleeing on foot
GLEN BURNIE, MD – A man walking through the parking lot of a Glen Burnie bar with his phone in his hand was attacked by two people who grabbed the device and ran early Friday, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Northern District officers responded at approximately 12:30 a.m. to the parking lot of Brews & Cues Bar in the 7900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.
The adult male victim told officers he had been walking through the parking lot holding his phone when two suspects approached him.
Police said the pair assaulted the man and grabbed the phone directly from his hand before fleeing on foot.
The department described both suspects as Black males in their late teens who were wearing all-black clothing.
Police did not disclose whether the victim suffered injuries or whether any weapons were involved.
No arrests had been announced in the information released Friday.
Detectives with the Northern District Detective Unit are investigating the robbery under case number 26-728257.
