On Thursday, June 29, at around midnight, a verbal dispute over a seat on the northbound E train escalated to physical violence. The unknown individual, following an argument with a 60-year-old man, forcefully pushed the latter off the train when it reached the Grand Street station. The victim, as a result, fell onto the northbound platform, breaking his right arm. He was later transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. The suspect was last seen exiting at the Woodhaven Boulevard station.
