WASHINGTON, D.C. – Authorities from the Metropolitan Police Department are reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying and finding a suspect connected to a shooting that happened on the 1500 block of 7th Street in Northwest, D.C., during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Just after 1:30 am, law enforcement officers rushed to the specified location following reports of a shooting. Upon reaching the scene, they found an adult male shooting victim inside an establishment. The injured individual was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries and is expected to survive.
A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect.
