BALTIMORE, MD – Police in Baltimore have made an arrest in a May shooting murder.
27-year-old Kedric Green of Baltimore has been arrested in connection with the homicide that occurred on May 10, 2023, in the Northwest District. According to investigators, Green allegedly shot and killed 29-year-old Darren Lamar Shipley in the 4500 block of Wakefield Road.
Kedric Green was taken into custody on July 31, 2023, and subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he is facing charges of 1st-degree murder.
The initial incident occurred on May 10, 2023, around 8:35 p.m., when Northwest District officers responded to the 4500 block of Wakefield Road following a shooting report. At the scene, officers discovered a 29-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was then taken to a nearby area hospital by medics for medical treatment.
