TOLEDO, OH – A man, identified by family members as 47-year-old Antonio Gilmer, was shot and killed at the crossroads of Fernwood Avenue and Smead Avenue on Saturday morning.
The Toledo Police Department, specifically the detective unit, reported that they received a shot spotter alert at approximately 5:30 a.m.
Shortly after this alert, a passerby alerted emergency services after spotting a man lying motionless on the street.
As of now, there are no known suspects, though detectives are pursuing a few potential leads.
