HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department is being praised for their exceptional and compassionate efforts in locating an 80-year-old man who had been reported missing from New Jersey for two days.

The officers took extraordinary measures to ensure the elderly man’s safety and well-being.

After locating the missing individual, Sgt. Kandrac, Cpl. Gale, PFCs Coonts, and Marino, along with other officers, worked diligently to secure his vehicle in a safe place, provide him with food, and keep him company for hours until his family arrived to pick him up.

Body-worn camera footage released by the department gives a glimpse into the compassionate care and professional conduct displayed by the officers involved.
