Police Investigating Shooting After Unwanted Guests Crashed House Party

Dagsboro, DE – Early Sunday morning, Delaware State Police responded to a shooting incident in Dagsboro, Delaware, specifically at a residence in the 28000 block of East Diamond Street. Fortunately, no injuries or damage to properties have been reported.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on August 20, during a birthday gathering with about 200 attendees. A group of uninvited guests arrived and began to party in the street near the house.

Shortly thereafter, a confrontation broke out among several individuals, leading to gunshots being fired. By the time the police arrived, the crowd and the unknown suspect had already dispersed.

Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively investigating the incident. Detectives are urging anyone with information related to this case to contact Detective K.
