Bronx Woman Charged in Deadly Shooting

Bronx, NY – As a result of an ongoing investigation, Latrisha Lowman, 41, was arrested and charged on Thursday within the 48 Precinct.

Lowman, a resident of Park Avenue, faces charges including murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

In a separate incident within the same precinct, police responded to a 911 call on Sunday regarding a person shot at 422 East 178 Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old female, later identified as Lashawn Andrews of 4275 Park Avenue, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the face.

EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

There are no arrests related to this case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
