RINGOES, NJ – Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson announced that additional charges have been filed against Ron Rothman, a 49-year-old male from Ringoes. The charges are the result of a joint investigation involving multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Moulton, Alabama Police Department.
Rothman and David Collier, a 46-year-old male from Moulton, Alabama, exchanged images and videos of child sexual abuse material. Collier was arrested on August 28 for various charges related to child exploitation.
Previously, Rothman was arrested on March 17 after a juvenile female reported that he had recorded her undressing in a changing room. Further investigation revealed additional material on Rothman’s phone involving the exploitation of unidentified juveniles.
On July 17, a search warrant was executed at Rothman’s residence, leading to his arrest. He faces multiple charges, including first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Rothman is currently held at the Warren County Correctional Center.
The investigation is ongoing and may result in additional charges.
