Two Charged for Robbery at Newark Hotel

NEWARK, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested Shannon Barben, 41, and Kelli Snavely, 38, in connection with a robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 2.

At around 10:52 p.m., troopers responded to a report at the Quality Inn in Newark. They found an injured man in the hallway and initiated an investigation.

The investigation revealed that the victim was ambushed by two men who stole his cell phone and cash.

Barben was taken into custody at the scene. Snavely was later identified as involved and was arrested at a nearby motel.

Both face multiple felony charges, including Robbery First Degree and Conspiracy First Degree.
