Teenager Assaulted, Stabbed at Atlantic Avenue Station

BROOKLYN, NY – A 16-year-old male became the target of an assault on Tuesday, at approximately 4:08 pm, within the Atlantic Avenue station.

The incident happened as the teenager was walking in the passageway heading toward the 3/4 line when he was approached by a group of approximately eight unknown individuals.

The group questioned the victim about his potential gang affiliations before proceeding to assault him, employing punches and kicks. Further escalating the situation, one of the individuals stabbed the victim in the buttocks and torso with an unidentified sharp object.

Following the assault, the group fled to an unknown location, leaving the victim injured but in stable condition. He was subsequently transported by EMS to Maimonides Hospital.

The NYPD is actively seeking information about the eight individuals involved. Media depicting the individuals being sought have been circulated.
