Allentown Police Respond to Bomb Threat at Synagogue

ALLENTOWN, PA – On Thursday, members of the Allentown Police Department were called to the Congregation Kenneth Israel at 2227 Chew St. following reports of a bomb threat.

the incident occurred at roughly 11:38 AM.

Assisted by the Allentown Fire Department, the threat was determined to be unfounded.

Both the Allentown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are currently investigating the matter.

No further details have been released at this time.
