NYPD Investigating Assault in Devoe Park

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks assistance in identifying six individuals involved in an assault on Friday in Devoe Park, Bronx.

A 60-year-old male victim was attacked around 11:20 am near Webb Avenue and Father Zeisler Place by these individuals, sustaining multiple slashes to his face and neck.

The assailants, described as four males and two females with dark complexions, fled the scene in two dark-colored sedans heading north on University Avenue.

The victim, transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, is in stable condition.

 Descriptions of the assailants include varied clothing like black jackets, jeans, a white t-shirt, and gray jeans. The NYPD asks anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
