Suspect in Custody for Multiple Homicide, Attempted Homicide Charges

ALLENTOWN, PA – Gabriel Cartagena, accused of multiple felonies, turned himself in at the Lehigh County Prison on Thursday.

The Allentown Police Department, along with several federal agencies, played a crucial role in this apprehension.

Cartagena faces charges including two counts each of Criminal Homicide, Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, and firearm-related felonies.

His surrender followed a press conference by DA Gavin Holihan, outlining Cartagena’s alleged crimes.

The community’s assistance was pivotal in Cartagena’s decision to surrender. The Allentown Police Department extends gratitude to everyone involved, including federal and state law enforcement partners.
