BALTIMORE, MD – A homicide investigation is underway following a shooting incident on January 14, 2024, near the I-83 North Exit 3. Baltimore Police responded to reports of a woman being shot around 12:59 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found two individuals in a vehicle: a 30-year-old female with a life-threatening gunshot wound and a 27-year-old male who was uninjured. The female victim was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead, despite efforts to save her life.

The 27-year-old male present at the scene has been taken into police custody. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are actively seeking information from the public. Witnesses or anyone with information are encouraged to contact the detectives at 410-396-2100.
