D.C. Police Seek Suspect in Southeast Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District are requesting the public’s help to find a suspect involved in a recent shooting. The incident took place on Monday at approximately 8:30 PM in the 2400 block of Elvans Road, Southeast.

Responding to a shooting report, officers found an adult female with a gunshot wound. She was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
