Man Found Shot To Death In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Homicide Branch of the D.C. Metro Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early yesterday morning in Northeast D.C.

The incident, reported at 12:30 AM on the 4500 block of Sheriff Road, resulted in the death of a 38-year-old man from Temple Hills, Maryland, named Ricky Canty. Canty, found with multiple gunshot wounds, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
