WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fourth District detectives are asking for public assistance in locating a suspect connected to a shooting that occurred in Northeast D.C. The incident took place on Tuesday at around 11:30 PM on the 4800 block of North Capitol Street.
An adult male and a 5-year-old girl, both found with gunshot wounds, were taken to local hospitals with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Alante Partlow of Northeast D.C., is wanted under a D.C. Superior Court Arrest Warrant for Aggravated Assault while Armed (Gun). Investigations suggest that Partlow knew the victims.

The police urge anyone with information about Partlow’s whereabouts to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip via text to 50411. Authorities have advised the public not to approach the suspect.
