WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fourth District detectives are asking for public assistance in locating a suspect connected to a shooting that occurred in Northeast D.C. The incident took place on Tuesday at around 11:30 PM on the 4800 block of North Capitol Street.

An adult male and a 5-year-old girl, both found with gunshot wounds, were taken to local hospitals with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Alante Partlow of Northeast D.C., is wanted under a D.C. Superior Court Arrest Warrant for Aggravated Assault while Armed (Gun). Investigations suggest that Partlow knew the victims.
