BROOKLYN, NY — Police responded to a distress call early Friday morning at 275 Mother Gaston Boulevard in the area of the 73rd Precinct. Upon their arrival at approximately 8:27 AM, officers found an unconscious and unresponsive two-month-old male.

The infant was immediately transported by EMS to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased. The identity of the deceased is currently withheld pending family notification. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
