PHILADELPHIA, PA—A police officer was involved in an accident at 100 W. Lehigh Ave in the 26th District when a vehicle struck his car from behind as he was exiting a gas station.
Philadelphia EMS Medic 13 responded. The driver of the vehicle involved did not require immediate medical services.
The officer was transported to Temple University Hospital for treatment and is expected to be released shortly. The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating
