Manchester, MD – A $50,000-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Manchester during Monday night’s drawing. The winning ticket matched five of the numbers drawn on May 13.

The lucky ticket holder is the sole third-tier prize winner in Maryland and among ten individuals across the nation to claim a $50,000 prize. This win marks the 29th third-tier Powerball prize won in the state this year.

While the jackpot was not claimed, Maryland had a total of 6,636 winners in various prize categories ranging from $4 to $50,000. The jackpot for the upcoming May 15 drawing sits at an estimated annuity of $59,000 with a cash option of $27.6 million.
