ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Monday, the Annapolis Police Department received a call around 4:25 p.m. about a man who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim, 28-year-old Damar Simms of Annapolis, had arrived at a local hospital, claiming to have been shot while walking on the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.
Simms, who sustained a gunshot wound to his lower left leg, did not identify any suspect. After treatment, Simms was released in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and police are still investigating the incident.
