Brick Township Fall Leaf Collection: What You Need to Know

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – Brick Township’s Department of Public Works has released the schedule for this year’s Fall Leaf Collection. The service will kick off on Monday, October 23, and align with the existing recycling timetable. Residents are advised to prepare their bagged leaves for pickup based on their regular recycling day.

The collection dates are as follows:

  • For Monday recyclers: October 23-27 and November 27-December 1
  • For Tuesday recyclers: October 30-November 3 and December 4-8
  • For Wednesday recyclers: November 6-10 and December 11-15
  • For Thursday recyclers: November 13-17 and December 18-22
  • For Friday recyclers: November 20-24 and December 26-29

“Residents are asked to have your bagged leaves at the curb by 6 a.m. on the first day of your collection periods,” stated the Department of Public Works. Collection will only include leaves that are bagged and each bag must not exceed a weight of 50 pounds. Importantly, branches, twigs, or other types of debris should not be mixed with the leaves in the bags.

For those who prefer to dispose of their leaves themselves, leaves can be brought to the Brick Township Recycling Center located at 836 Ridge Road. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additionally, leaves are accepted at the Ocean County Recycling Center on New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood Township.

Residents seeking further information can reach out to the Department of Public Works at 732-451-4060.
