BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJCordi’s Italian Gourmet in Brick Township is doing what it can to make sure the town’s supply of high-quality Italian food is readily available to the residents of the town during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Owner Domenic Cordi said that during the pandemic, his business remains focused on quality and safety and food is available only for curbside pick up and delivery.  Orders are brought out to the customers and for Cordi, safety comes first.

“In these tough times today, we’re trying to keep everything simple and everything right,” said Dominic Cordi. ”

After hours, Cordi has also been doing what he can to help the community’s front line warriors in the war against COVID-19, delivering meals to hospital night shift workers.

“In the evening it’s tough for them,” Cordi said.  He has delivered meals to Ocean Medical Center, Community Medical Center, and is expanding his goodwill to Jersey Shore Medical Center and other North Jersey hospitals.   He said part of his ability is through donations made by customers to help Cordi fund his free meals for hospital workers.
