Calvert County Woman Strikes $50K on FAST PLAY Lottery Game

Chesapeake Beach, Maryland – A Chesapeake Beach resident’s routine lottery purchase turned into an extraordinary $50,000 win with a FAST PLAY Double Win ticket. Initially unsure of her win, the woman sought confirmation from a clerk at the Twin Beach Convenience Store at 8426 Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach, where she purchased her ticket on February 9.

Upon scanning the ticket with her Lottery app and receiving a prompt to visit a retailer, the clerk’s scan confirmed she had secured one of the game’s 20 top prizes, with 17 still up for grabs. Despite the significant win, the Calvert County woman remained composed, tucking the ticket into her purse and planning a modest crab cake dinner celebration.

The retailer, Twin Beach Convenience Store, will receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket. While the winner has not yet decided on how to utilize the majority of her prize money, she remains a devoted lottery player, enjoying the thrill of the potential win with her regular purchases of Pick 5, scratch-offs, and now, FAST PLAY tickets.

This win highlights the ongoing FAST PLAY Fridays promotion, offering players the chance to win free $10 or $20 FAST PLAY games every Friday in February, adding an extra layer of excitement to the Maryland Lottery’s offerings.
