Detectives ask public to help identify person of interest
HUNTINGTOWN, Md. — Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a man and a vehicle connected to a property destruction investigation at a Huntingtown church.
According to the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, investigators are attempting to identify a man in connection with an incident at Zion Church of Jesus Christ, located at 110 Athena Lane.
The man was last seen wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
Detectives are also seeking information about a silver four-door passenger car that was photographed in the church parking lot.
Authorities emphasized that the individual and vehicle are being sought for identification as part of an active investigation and that being identified does not imply guilt.
Anyone who recognizes the man or vehicle, or has information about the person’s identity or whereabouts, is asked to contact DFC R. Jones at Ryan.Jones@calvertcountymd.gov.
