Cumberland woman charged with violating peace order after alleged threats — handcuff

Police say a woman allegedly made verbal threats following an altercation between juveniles and was found to be in violation of a court order.

CUMBERLAND, Md. — A Cumberland woman has been charged with violating a peace order and harassment after police said she allegedly made verbal threats that were captured on video.

The Cumberland Police Department said officers served a criminal summons on Wednesday, June 24, to Stacey Marie Tomczewski, 41, of Cumberland.

According to police, the charges were filed in the District Court of Allegany County after an alleged victim reported that Tomczewski shouted verbal threats following an altercation involving juveniles.

Police said the alleged threats were captured on camera and that Tomczewski was found to be in violation of a court order.

Failure to comply with a peace order
Harassment

She was released pending trial.
