NEWARK, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 21-year-old Isaiah Moore, of Wilmington, for burglary and related charges linked to multiple incidents at the Iron Hill Corporate Center in Newark. The investigation began after troopers responded to several reports of burglary at the location.
On Monday, August 13, at approximately 12:20 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the corporate center and accessed PC Online, a business located within the facility. The suspect fled without taking any property, and this burglary was not initially reported to law enforcement.
On Saturday, September 21, at around 9:30 p.m., another suspect with a similar appearance entered the center and accessed PC Online again. The individual removed various items, including credit cards belonging to employees, which led to unauthorized purchases the following day.
On Friday, October 4, at about 3:30 a.m., a suspect with a similar appearance gained entry to the WSFS Bank Administrative Office within the corporate center. Various personal items belonging to bank employees were taken during this incident.
The next evening, Saturday, October 5, at around 10:30 p.m., a suspect attempted to burglarize PC Online but was unsuccessful in entering the business. Later, between October 9 and 10, a suspect with a similar appearance gained access to the Bistro At Prides Crossing and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
Through investigative work, detectives identified the suspect as Isaiah Moore and secured a warrant for his arrest. On Wednesday, October 16, Moore turned himself in at Troop 6 and was charged with multiple offenses.
The charges include wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, four counts of burglary in the third degree, attempted burglary in the third degree, unlawful use of a payment card over $1,500, and 12 counts of theft under $1,500. Moore was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
