Deputy spots wanted woman at Stafford bus stop leading to arrest on drug and fraud charges

Stafford, VA – A sharp-eyed Stafford County deputy recognized a wanted woman at a bus stop in North Stafford on Friday, leading to her arrest on multiple charges including drug possession and identity fraud.

On September 12, around 4:05 p.m., Deputy X.D. Bates was patrolling Garrison Woods Drive when he saw a woman he identified as Sharon Anderson, 57, of Stafford, who was wanted on a felony probation violation. When Anderson noticed the deputy, she tried to walk away quickly but was stopped and questioned.
