Drunk driver jailed in Ocean County

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – An Ocean County man was jailed this week for drunk driving, as police thwarted a potentially deadly outcome on the county’s roadways.

Jail records show that an Ocean County man, identified as Rosalino Avarado Campos, was booked Monday on drunk driving charges and is serving a short sentence at the county jail.

Campos was committed to the Ocean County Correctional Facility on January 5 with a projected release date of January 7. According to records, he was charged under New Jersey statute 39:4-50 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

The case status is listed as sentenced, and bond information indicates no bail was set. No additional charges, detainers, or aliases are reported.
