One of the suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to take the woman’s pocketbook. During the struggle, the individual forcibly took her cellphone, causing injuries to her face, authorities said.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

The suspects fled the location traveling northbound on Marathon Parkway in the same vehicle.
