Fatal Shooting in Baltimore Leaves One Dead

BALTIMORE, MD – A man was pronounced dead following a shooting incident in the Southern District early this morning, prompting a homicide investigation by local authorities.

Patrol officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Spellman Road at approximately 7:57 a.m. on April 11, 2024, after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim with a gunshot wound.

Emergency medical technicians immediately administered CPR to the victim at the scene. However, despite their efforts, the victim was later declared dead.

Homicide detectives are now actively seeking information related to this case and encourage anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward and call police at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
