Man arrested for attempted murder in April shooting on South Hanover Street

BALTIMORE, MD – A 33-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested in connection with an April shooting that left another man injured in the city’s Southern District.

Dionte White was taken into custody by Warrant Apprehension detectives on November 14 and charged with attempted second-degree murder for the April 27 shooting of a 32-year-old man. The incident occurred around 2:09 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Hanover Street.

At the time, Southern District patrol officers responded to the scene and found the victim suffering from what was described as a non-life-threatening graze wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The case was turned over to investigators who later identified White as the suspect. Following his arrest, he was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where formal charges were filed.
