ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is doubling down on its future with a sweeping $50 million capital improvement plan for 2026, signaling that the iconic Boardwalk resort has no plans of slowing down.
The ambitious project includes renovations to more than 700 standard guest rooms, 60 suites, and eight penthouses in the property’s North Tower, along with upgrades to guest corridors and common walkways. Most of the improvements are expected to be complete by the end of 2026, marking another major investment in the resort’s ongoing revitalization efforts.
Hard Rock officials said the project reflects a continued commitment to both guest experience and Atlantic City’s long-term economic health. Since reopening the former Trump Taj Mahal in 2018, Hard Rock has poured nearly $700 million into capital projects aimed at solidifying its place as a leading entertainment and hospitality destination on the East Coast.
New dining options and upgraded guest experience on the way
The resort is expanding its dining scene with several new culinary concepts, including Sitar, an upscale East Indian restaurant featuring modern Indian cuisine and sweeping Boardwalk views. Also joining the property this spring will be Federal Donuts and Chicken, a Philadelphia favorite known for its fried chicken and signature donuts.
Guest arrival areas and gaming spaces are also being refreshed with new carpet on the casino floor and upper corridors. Sixteen electric vehicle chargers have been added at Rocktane Gas & Wash, and exterior restoration work is ongoing on the South Tower.

Entertainment, workforce, and community investments continue
Beyond physical renovations, Hard Rock Atlantic City continues to invest heavily in live entertainment, hosting A-list performers such as Rod Stewart, Nikki Glaser, Daniel Tosh, James Taylor, Charlie Puth, and Ricardo Arjona.
The resort was also recognized with a USA Today Top Workplaces Award for the third consecutive year in 2026, reflecting its commitment to employee satisfaction and development.
