Traffic stop ends with warrant arrest at Broad and Elm

Westfield, NJ – A midday traffic stop at a busy intersection led to the arrest of a Pennsylvania man wanted on an outstanding traffic warrant.

The arrest happened Jan. 28 at approximately 1:03 p.m. near East Broad Street and Elm Street. During the stop, officers determined that Moses Mancias, 24, of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, was wanted on an $850 traffic warrant issued by Saddle Brook Municipal Court.

Mancias was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and later released with a new court date in Saddle Brook.
